It will be a long time before there is another solar eclipse that is visible in the United States. The one on April 8, 2024 is visible from south Texas all the way up to the east coast into the state of Maine. Eclipses are always dramatic and bring big headline news stories. Even if the eclipse does not activate anything in your personal chart it will be hard not to notice it affecting the people around you.
First notice that it is the Sun being eclipsed and it’s in the sign of Aries. Since a solar eclipse is like a new moon the Moon is also in Aries at the same degree of 19. There are two more planets in Aries, retrograde Mercury and Venus. Mercury can’t be seen while being so close to the Sun and Venus in its last days being visible - headed toward the Sun, hence being made invisible by the Sun’s brightness. They don’t have much power because of these circumstances and no other planets are helping them out with positive aspects.
What does this mean for the next few weeks of your life? Don’t expect to get Mercury or Venus type activities done. Quality talking, speaking, learning, socializing and leisure activities will be on the back burner. You won’t make any head way in these areas. Routine events only are most probable.
This eclipse is governed or under the power of the Mars/Saturn (Mars rules Aries) conjunction in aspect to the Jupiter/Uranus conjunction. There is likely to be many arguments, disagreements and strife for the next couple of weeks. The fascinating part is that you will feel optimistic about the strife. There will be a productive quality to it. The Mars/Saturn combo has rulership over the entire eclipse event and the Jupiter/Uranus has rulership (Jupiter rules over Pisces) over the Mars/Saturn combo. Luckily Mars/Saturn are in a positive aspect relationship to Jupiter/Uranus, this is what brings the productivity or a collaborative effect.
Now you can’t mention Uranus without mentioning the possibility of disruption, upsets or surprise! Jupiter matched up with Uranus makes it a bigger surprise; magnifies the upset or disruption. This particular eclipse combination is likely to bring about surprise conflicts that come from out of nowhere and then the solution or outcome will be just as surprising.
Since all the planets/celestial bodies are in only three signs (Pluto is an outlier in Aquarius - not having much affect) the energy of the eclipse will be focused and it is very clear who the major players are with only two of the three signs in aspect to each other. If change is coming for you it will definitely be noticeable this eclipse season.
