About every 13 years we get a conjunction of these two big outer planets, Jupiter and Uranus. Jupiter is physically the largest planet in our solar system, its astrological associations have been known as expansion, big ideas and concepts, seeker of truth and justice. These associations have been known for thousands of years. Uranus is a larger outer planet not visible without a telescope, with a rotation opposite to all the majority of the planets, it is the first planet to be discovered in modern times, and records the coldest temperatures in its gas atmosphere. Its astrological association include disruption, rebellion, electricity, and unexpected outcomes. Put these two together and you get big upsets, trend reversals and rebels with a cause. The sign these planets will come together in is Taurus. Taurus is astrologically known for basic needs and “creature comforts” such as food, shelter, clothing, cooking, agriculture. This sign is slow moving and emphasizes the physical and material world. April 20, 2024 is the day of the conjunction.
If we look at the previous Jupiter/Uranus conjunction in Pisces in 2011 then we notice how TV watching completely changed. Pisces is known for imagination, fantasy and escapism- entertainment is one of several activities Pisces has rulership over. Not long after the Pisces Jupiter/Uranus conjunction we had the beginning of new original content TV shows streaming on online services. The first of these series was House of Cards with several Emmy nominations and a winner. This brought credibility to the format of streaming. We, the American public, no longer were limited to 3 TV networks. All the streaming services started to add their own original content. TV watching is drastically different than it was 13 years ago.
What can we expect for the next 13 years after the Taurus Jupiter/Uranus conjunction? The areas of food processing and farming I expect to be transformed. 3D printing of food could definitely be a possibility. I’m not saying it would be the most healthy food option, but it could be available. The fake meat industry is likely to really “take off”. There could be new technologies for farming as well.
New housing materials could be developed and new ways of living in a city or town transformed. New fibers or materials for clothing could be invented. Since Taurus is an earth sign I am personally hoping that a “new” trend of physically connecting to our earth planet will be more popular or main stream.

This conjunction is one of the more exciting and inspiring alignments happening this year. The best thing to do is expect surprises, expect the opposite of what you would normally expect. Even thought the next month Jupiter moves into a new sign the alignments between Jupiter and Uranus will continue to have an influence on Taurus topics throughout the next 13 years. And of course look at your chart to see where Taurus is, that is where the conjunction will take place.
